From April 1, accreditation of media representatives, who wish to cover the work of the 6th Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council – the Forum of Future Leaders is open. The special webpage is created for Media accreditation applications on the Forum official website. 

The forum will be held in St. Petersburg from 23 to 28 June 2019. This is the world’s largest platform for professional communication of young professionals in the oil and gas industry. 

The information partners of the Forum are dozens of industry publications in Russia, as well as several media from the near abroad. They have already published hundreds of materials, telling about the preparation of the event. 

The organizers expect that a large pool of journalists representing a wide range of Russian and foreign media will cover the work of the Forum. After all, we are talking about a unique large-scale event with a very rich agenda and important newsmakers. 

“The business program of the Forum will be very interesting and intense. Among the speakers are Alexander Novak, Russia’s Minister of Energy, Tor Fjaeran, President of the World Petroleum Council, Alexander DyukovCEO of Gazprom NeftCederic CremersExecutive Vice President and Country Chair Russia at Shell, and many others. We are interested in cooperation with all media and we will do our best to provide journalists with comfortable working conditions,” said Vlada Streletskaya, director of the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council. 

The World Petroleum Council youth forums are held every three years. In Russia, the Forum is held for the first time. About 1200 delegates and guests from dozens of countries are expected to come. The organizing committee is headed by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak. 

On the days of the Future Leaders Forum in St. Petersburg, a meeting of the World Petroleum Council will be held, at which the country hosting the World Petroleum Congress – 2023 will be selected.
