- “Portovaya” Compressor Station (CS).
“Portovaya” Compressor Station, Port Linear Production Department of main gas pipelines branch of “Gazprom Transgaz Saint-Petersburg” is the starting point for gas supplies to Europe via “Nord Stream” sea gas pipeline. In terms of total power, operating pressure and transport distance, it is the most powerful CS in the world. It is located on the Baltic Sea coast in Portovaya Bay, near the city of Vyborg, Leningrad region. The station provides transportation of gas through the “North Stream” without creating additional compressor capacity. For this purpose, six R gas pumping units of Rolls-Royce company with a capacity of 50 MW are installed here, used for the first time in the history of the Unified Gas Supply System of Russia, as well as two units with a capacity of 25 MW. For successful work of “Portovaya” CS, the developed infrastructure is formed – these are systems of power supply, water supply, and water disposal, installation of thermal neutralization of waste, a network of highways and so on.
- “Vysotsk” Distribution and Transshipment Complex (DTC)
DTC-Vysotsk “LUKOIL-II” – distribution and transshipment complex, the main task of which is the transshipment of dark and light oil products from the rail, water and pipeline transport to the sea (tanker). The company is located in the Leningrad region on the shore of the Vyborg Bay. Three railway overpasses provide simultaneous processing of 216 railway tank cars. The terminal has three berths, which allow taking the tanker with a deadweight of up to 100 000 thousand tons.
