Code of Conduct (Свод правил)

Courtesy and respect are important aspects of a sound working environment and business dealings.

At WPC we are committed to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment at our events for all individuals to work together, network, learn, and share through an open and friendly dialogue.

We expect everyone to be treated in a courteous and respectful manner. As a community we do not tolerate discrimination, abuse, or harassment of any kind by anyone at our events. Offensive messages, derogatory remarks, sexual language and imagery and inappropriate jokes are not acceptable. Be aware and respect other people’s customs or culture as appropriate.

Unacceptable behaviours at our events include, but are not limited to, harassment or intimidation based on race, religion, language, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, appearance, or other group status; sexual harassment, including unwelcome sexual attention, stalking (physical or virtual), or unsolicited physical contact; and disorderly or disruptive actions in sessions, the exhibit hall, or in other conference venues.

WPC and its organisers reserve the right at their sole discretion to expel anyone from an event, without refund, whose conduct is not in keeping with these expectations or take further actions if needed. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.

We expect participants to respect and follow these rules throughout the events be it at the congress, conference or workshop venues and their social events.

If you feel threatened or at risk of physical harm or are involved in or witness an emergency situation, please immediately ask for help from staff/on-site security. If you feel you have been subject to harassment, please contact any of our staff members. We will investigate and seek to address the situation where necessary.
